Psychotherapy

for Polycules & Couples

Our agreement

  • Everyone has the right to feel safe, be themselves, and to feel love.

  • Couples may deeply love each other and yet have difficulty communicating and getting their needs met.

  • Attunement, Connection, and Safety in relationships may not be given to us in childhood but can be learned and earned in adulthood.

What to expect:

Couples and Polycule Therapy with me looks like queer folx and poly-minded liberators mindfully noticing and honoring their own needs while also learning to effectively reach out for connection in courageous, safe, creative, and compelling ways.

All sessions are collaborative and consensual.

Your entire self, including your physical bodies, spirits, traumas, pleasures, and concerns, are welcomed.

The Tools

Additional Modalities

Sessions may also include Non-Violent Communication (NVC), Somatic Experiencing exercises, Internal Family Systems work, Gottman foundation principles and homework to help each person feel less reactive and more understood.

Somatic Experiencing

Through Somatic Experiencing I help open partnerships & polycules who are struggling with their communication and sense of connection. By learning and experiencing more emotional regulation, co-regulation, and safety building skills, relationships can become more authentic, grounded, and secure.

"We (D+T) began therapy with Madeline in Fall 2020 when our polyamorous relationship with a third person dissolved. We realized then that we lacked models in our lives for navigating non-traditional relationships and needed more support as we grew together. Since then, Mads has helped us develop communication and relational skills that enable us to grow closer and remain in connection even in the most challenging times. In late 2024, we started therapy as a polycule with Madeline (D+T, T+J). Their practice of developing skills using relational, communication, and somatic techniques helps the three of us as we weave our lives together. Not a week goes by where we haven't learned something new about ourselves and each other, how to work together and support each other, and how to grow together. Madeline's support and guidance is highly valued by us and we cannot recommend them enough."
