Integration

of Altered States and Experiences

Have you experienced an nonordinary state of consciousness from…

  • A silhouette of a face with small bubbles floating outside the face

    Psychic Experiences?

  • a silhouette of a face inside wavy clouds of color

    Psychedelics?

  • A silhouette of a face inside a network of connected dots

    Meditation?

Folks who respond yes to the above, and many more possibilities, are referred to as Experiencers.

What to expect:

I help to facilitate integration of these experiences, helping you to feel more grounded, embodied, and connected. Using Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, relational therapy, & practical tools such as journalling, artwork, and movement I’ll help you to better integrate your body/mind/spirit and make meaning of these big happenings into your life.

Your entire self including your bodies, spirit, traumas, pleasures, resiliency, guides and benign ancestors are welcomed.

The Tools

Additional Modalities

Sessions may include Internal Family Systems, Jungian or archetypal approaches, mindful movement, visualizations, Tarot, symbols, dream work, astrological considerations, existential components, and Process Work.

Somatic Experiencing

Through Somatic Experiencing you may learn to track your experiences, sensations, and emotions more effectively. This may assist you in turning overwhelming or awe-inducing experiences into an embodied and grounded reality. It helps to regulate the nervous system, and promotes a more robust capacity to hold and process emotions and meaning.

"I have been with Madeline for the better part of a decade. I have some significant trauma. And never found talk therapy useful. Madeline doesn't only listen, she uses various modalities to help you understand and work to improve the emotional symptoms of trauma now. So you're not just going to talk about your past over and over again. You're going to do something about how it's impacting you now. And when you can relieve some of those symptoms you can grow and heal and be a better self. I feel like I'm a better self than I was when we started. It's been work and it's been worth it."

Wholeness is not achieved by cutting off a portion of one’s being, but by integration of the contraries.”
